C26
In the design
of the high-rise residences at C26, we envisioned architecture not only to
blend into the landscape, but also to shape it—allowing the presence of the
towers to extend the site’s natural order.
Inspired by the traditional Eastern garden concept of “borrowed scenery”—in which exterior nature is framed and drawn into the interior—we reversed this logic at C26: treating the “view frame” as an architectural façade element, turning it into a pictorial frame that highlights the building itself as the subject of the composition.
The staggered frames across the façade capture daylight and reflections, guiding the gaze upward. Viewed from the lake, the towers appear framed like paintings—their vertical posture re-emphasized within the natural landscape, forming a visual dialogue between nature and architecture.
