Taking on the
new interpretation of luxury - Living with nature. Inspired by Haikou, the
capital of Hainan province’s nature palette - coconuts trees, mangrove forests,
white-sand beaches, Tree Villa is designed as the home for indulging in nature. The site is
situated in the east coast of Haikou, the new and ecologically responsible
urban district – Jiangdong, with an abundant water system and coastline
resources, including water, forest, farmland, and lake.
By understanding the surrounding topography and landscape, the development miniaturizes the relations between the tropical rainforest and water systems of Hainan Island, creating a micro-ecological landscape in the masterplan, envisaging a sustainable residential and tourist retreat community that presents Jiangdong’s sustainable vision.
